State College is a municipality in central Pennsylvania. It’s home to Penn State University’s main campus. There is something for everyone, ranging from outdoor activities to sporting events and community events. If you like to Hike and Bike, you have Rothrock State Forest, Shingletown Gap, or Mt Nittany Trailhead that feature over 150 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. For cyclists, some of the most beautiful and challenging rides are featured across central Pennsylvania. How about the Arts? Well you can visit The Centre for Performing Arts at Eisenhower Auditorium, a multi-tiered venue at Penn State showcasing well-known musicians, Broadway shows and dance artists. Area wineries your thing? There are several wineries that have great atmosphere, Seven Mountains Winery and Happy Valley, to name a few. There are lots of great activities for children. How about a day at Millbrook Marsh discover the wonders of nature by exploring the unique marsh ecosystem at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center.

Connect with your inner childhood while wandering through the beautiful pollinator garden and enjoy wildlife viewing at one of the observation decks. How about Discovery Space, where you can enjoy this exciting, growing science museum of interactive exhibits and hands-on programs designed to provide valuable informal science education, especially in the areas of Science. Enjoy walking downtown to restaurants with outdoor seating, shopping, and the Penn State Campus. If sports are what you love, you have hit a homerun here with Football, hockey, volleyball, and wrestling on the Penn State Campus. We even have our own Minor League baseball team, the Spikes.
